Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? The study will include adult patients aged 24 years or older and under 79 years who have undergone their first stoma creation surgery and have not received education from a certified wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nurse. According to Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Framework Act on Juveniles, “juveniles” are defined as individuals between the ages of 9 and 24. Therefore, this study will include only adult patients aged 24 and above, excluding juveniles. ? Eligible participants will be those who are alert, able to communicate, understand the purpose of the study, use a mobile device, and either read the questionnaire themselves or comprehend it when read aloud by the researcher. Only those who provide informed consent will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria: ?Stoma patients who have been diagnosed with dementia, cognitive impairment, or psychiatric disorders ?Stoma patients who have already received stoma-related education from a certified wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) nurse
