Others(Cane gait training) : Based on a randomized crossover design, all participants receive both types of gait training. In this study, both participants and assessors will be blinded. Participant

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosed with stroke and within 1 to 6 months after onset (i.e., subacute phase). 2)Score of 24 or higher on the Korean version of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE-K). 3)Score of 2 or 3 on the Functional Ambulation Classification (FAC). 4)Average cane weight-bearing ratio is =7% and <25% of body weight during walking. 5)No visual or hearing impairments. 6)No orthopedic disorders affecting gait.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Stroke lesion located in the brainstem or cerebellum. 2)Sensory deficit in the non-paretic upper limb. 3)Presence of unilateral neglect. 4)Hemianopsia or vestibular organ damage. 5)Any comorbid conditions affecting gait, such as fractures, amputations, or prior spinal surgery.
