Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Children aged between 2 and 11 years (based on chronological age) at the time of their first assessment of the Korean Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second Edition (K-VABS-II) 2) Subjects who meet the diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5)#1 and/or have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder through the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) #1: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) Diagnostic Criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder: ? Persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts: A. Deficits in social-emotional reciprocity B. Deficits in nonverbal and verbal communicative behaviors used for social interaction C. Deficits in developing, maintaining, and understanding relationships appropriate to developmental level ? Restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities, as manifested by at least two of the following: A. Stereotyped or repetitive motor movements, use of objects, or speech B. Insistence on sameness, inflexible adherence to routines, or ritualized patterns of behavior C. Highly restricted, fixated interests that are abnormal in intensity or focus D. Hyper- or hyporeactivity to sensory input or unusual interest in sensory aspects of the environment ? Symptoms must be present in the early developmental period (but may not become fully manifest until social demands exceed limited capacities) 3) Subjects who have undergone Korean Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Second Edition (K-VABS-II) assessments at least twice 4) Subjects without any diagnosed neurological disorders, severe psychiatric illnesses, or genetic syndromes
