Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participants were patients admitted to the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) after undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), heart valve surgery, ascending and descending aortic replacement, cardiac myxoma resection, or atrial/ventricular septal defect repair at a single tertiary hospital located in City

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. When a neuromuscular blockade is being administered 2. When increased intracranial pressure is suspected (e.g., cerebral edema, cerebral infarction, intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage) 3. Uncontrolled seizures that are not managed by medication 4. Continuous or newly occurring bleeding at the surgical site (drainage exceeding 100 ml/hour for 3 consecutive hours) 5. Presence of an open wound (abdominal/chest) 6. If early mobilization is restricted by the attending physician due to sternal instability, etc. 7. If an emergency temporary pacemaker insertion is planned due to arrhythmia 8. Repeated episodes of ventricular arrhythmia 9. Newly diagnosed deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary thromboembolism within the last 24 hours 10. Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale (RASS) score = +2, indicating agitation 11. Ongoing pain = 4 on the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) despite pain management 12. If the patient is receiving inhaled nitric oxide (NO gas) 13. Any of the following conditions: a. Blood pressure: mean BP = 60 mmHg, systolic BP = 90 mmHg, or systolic BP = 180 mmHg b. Heart rate: = 40 beats/min or = 130 beats/min c. Fraction of Inspired Oxygen (FiO2) > 60%, Positive End-Expiratory Pressure (PEEP) > 10 cmH2O, Respiratory Rate (RR) > 40 breaths/min, or Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) < 90% d. Ventilator dyssynchrony 14. Patients scheduled for surgery on the same day
