Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - 18 years of age or older - Patients with unilateral or bilateral inguinal hernia surgery (open or laparoscopic)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - a patient who performed emergency surgery for a hernia - a patient with a history of inguinal hernia surgery - a patient with a history of abdominal surgery - a patient with an underlying lung disease - pregnant patient - American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class III or IV
