Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The participants in this study are preschool children aged between 30 and 83 months who were diagnosed with cerebral palsy either at Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital or at an external medical institution. Only those who completed all of the following assessments at Seoul Rehabilitation Hospital were included: the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI), the Sequenced Language Scale for Infants (SELSI) or the Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale (PRES), the Social Maturity Scale (SMS), and the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL). In addition, participants were required to have their gross motor function evaluated using the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS). If multiple evaluations were available, the earliest data were prioritized. Cases in which certain assessments could not be completed due to severe disability were also included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children were excluded if they did not complete one or more of the required assessments—namely, the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI), the Sequenced Language Scale for Infants (SELSI) or the Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale (PRES), the Social Maturity Scale (SMS), or the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL)—or if their evaluation data were incomplete or unsuitable for analysis. In addition, children diagnosed with neurological or genetic conditions other than cerebral palsy, or whose age at the time of assessment was younger than 30 months or older than 83 months, were also excluded.
