Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants included in this study were individuals with spinal cord injuries who use a wheelchair and have paraplegia. Eligible participants had not engaged in regular exercise within the past six months and had no orthopedic conditions other than the spinal cord injury. Additionally, they were not taking any relevant medications and had no plans to initiate such medications during the study period. Only those capable of consistently participating in the designated exercise program were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who were unable to consistently participate in the exercise sessions, those currently taking or planning to take medications that may affect the study, and those who did not provide written informed consent were excluded from the study.
