Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The participant inclusion criteria were as follows: patients who had been diagnosed with hemiplegia due to stroke between 2 and 6 months; those who had a score of at least 23 points on the Korean version of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (K-MoCA) and were capable of unimpeded communication with the researchers; those who were capable of mass grasp and hook grasp with their hands to perform the tasks in the intervention; those who were at Brunnstrom Recovery Stage (BRS) 3 or higher, showing voluntary synergistic movement of the arm and hand; those who were judged to have no visual perception problems based on the Motor-free Visual Perception Test-3 (MVPT-3); those who showed no unilateral neglect in the line bisection test.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: those who consented to participate based on an understanding of the study objectives. The exclusion criteria were patients whose medical records showed surgical, psychiatric, or neurological diseases other than stroke that could affect the study and those who were participating in other studies.
