Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients requiring implant placement due to tooth loss, aged 20 years or older, in good general health, and having adequate alveolar bone volume suitable for implant placement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients with systemic diseases that may affect bone metabolism (long-term steroid/aminobisphosphonate treatment) - Patients with periodontal disease with general edema and bleeding (patients whose condition did not improve despite treatment) - Pregnancy - Patients taking immunosuppressants - Those who received head and neck radiation therapy - Patients with poorly controlled diabetes - Patients with contraindications to simple oral surgery - Edentulous patients - Patients with bone grafting were excluded from the study/ Patients with deficient extraction sites and maxillary sinus grafting were excluded

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The average value of the Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) measured at the mesiodistal and buccolingual of the implant fixture - buccolingual (ISQ1), mesiodistal (ISQ2)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluate the average gray scale of the Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) image of the Region Of Interest (ROI) area created perpendicular to the cross-section of the alveolar bone where the implant fixture is located
