Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recruitment notices will be posted on the bulletin board of the Brain Neurology Center at the Catholic University of Korea's Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital, as well as at a randomly selected sample of institutions, including a total of 417 daycare centers, 125 kindergartens, and 45 elementary schools located in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul and Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si. Participants will be included upon voluntary agreement to participate and after the legally authorized representative provides written informed consent following review of the study information sheet. Children aged between 5 and 12 years will be recruited and categorized into either the preterm or term-born group. The preterm group includes children who were either born before 37 weeks of gestation (preterm birth) or had a birth weight of 2,500 grams or less (low birth weight), based on verification through medical records or parental report. Children in the preterm group are at elevated risk for developmental disorders, including intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), though not all preterm children are diagnosed with such conditions. The term-born group is defined as children born at or after 37 weeks of gestation with a birth weight greater than 2,500 grams, representing typically developing children.

Exclusion criteria
