Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM) according to the following criteria: (1) Amyloidosis is suspected based on electrocardiography, echocardiography, or cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, and (2) All of the following conditions are met: (2-1) Light-chain (AL) amyloidosis is excluded by blood and urine testing, and (2-2) Transthyretin amyloid deposition in the myocardium is confirmed either by nuclear imaging (99mTc-PYP, DPD, or HMDP scintigraphy) showing grade 2 or 3 uptake, or by endomyocardial biopsy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Patients under 19 years of age ? Patients without confirmed transthyretin amyloid deposition in the myocardium by either endomyocardial biopsy or nuclear imaging ? Patients with an abnormal free light chain ratio or with monoclonal gammopathy identified on serum or urine immunofixation ? Patients in whom other types of cardiac amyloidosis have not been adequately excluded through differential diagnosis
