Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible participants were healthy adult men and women aged 19 years or older whose place of residence or workplace was located in the Seoul, Incheon, or Gyeonggi metropolitan area.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with specific diseases (e.g., malignant tumors, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological disorders, or other serious illnesses), those employed at the institution of the principal investigator, or those with no prior experience consuming Samyang Foods’ Buldak Bokkeummyun were excluded.
