Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults and older adults aged between 19 and 80 years Individuals who voluntarily agree to participate with full understanding of the study procedures Participants with corrected vision sufficient to perform screen-based cognitive tasks Those who are able to cooperate with transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation, functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, Electroencephalography, and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of major psychiatric disorders or substance abuse Currently taking medications on a regular basis Uncorrectable visual impairments interfering with task performance Presence of implanted metal devices (e.g., pacemaker, joint prosthesis, dental metal, intrauterine device) or severe claustrophobia making fMRI infeasible Pregnant or possibly pregnant individuals Participants judged to have low compliance or who are uncooperative with study procedures
