Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: This study included 24 participants aged between 20 and 40 years who were diagnosed with lateral elbow tendinopathy and voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. The inclusion criteria were adults aged 20 to 40 years with lateral elbow pain and a score of 3 or higher in the pain subscale of the Patient-Rated Tennis Elbow Evaluation (PRTEE). Additionally, participants had to meet at least three of the following six conditions: (1) localized tenderness on palpation of the lateral epicondyle, (2) pain elicited during Mill’s test, (3) pain elicited during Maudsley’s test, (4) pain elicited during Cozen’s test, (5) pain during grip strength assessment with the elbow extended, (6) a difference of more than 8% in grip strength between the flexed and extended elbow positions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included individuals who had undergone surgery on the wrist, elbow, or shoulder; those with symptoms of radiculopathy; those diagnosed with systemic arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis; individuals with neurological deficits; those who had received injection therapy in the affected area within the past three months; those with metal implants in the wrist, shoulder, or elbow; those with severe skin lesions on the back or elbow; and those who did not consent to participate in this study.
