Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible patients were adults scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included age over 70, cognitive impairment, known allergy to NSAIDs or ibuprofen, bleeding tendencies, renal impairment (CrCl < 60 mL/min), use of warfarin, asthma, pregnancy or lactation, and emergency or repeat surgeries.
