Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who meet the 2018 revised international diagnostic criteria for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), as defined by the American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), Japanese Respiratory Society, and Latin American Thoracic Society. 2.Residents of Seoul or the metropolitan area. 3.Pulmonary function test (PFT) results showing: - Forced vital capacity (FVC) between 40% and 80% of the predicted value - Diffusing capacity for carbon monoxide (DLCO) between 30% and 80% of the predicted value

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Interstitial lung disease with known causes (e.g., environmental exposures, connective tissue diseases, drug-induced) Age under 50 years Current smokers
