Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with asthma who, within the past 12 months, have experienced symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, or chronic/recurrent cough, and meet at least one of the following criteria: a bronchodilator response =12% from baseline FEV1, a methacholine PC20 =16 mg/mL, or a mannitol PD15 =635 mg.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Interstitial pneumonia, tumors, chronic suppurative lung disease, and immunodeficiency
