Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Selection criteria (Follows the grades described in the paper Periodontitis: Consensus report of workgroup 2 of the 2017 WorldWorkshop.) (1) Grade A ? Patients with two or more panoramic radiographs in the past 5 years ? No bone resorption or clinical attachment loss for 5 years based on panoramic radiographs ? Bone loss/age based on panoramic radiographs is approximately 0.25% or less (Bone loss based on age based on panoramic radiographs is approximately 0.25% ? Low level of periodontal destruction compared to large amount of plaque deposition (2) Grade B ? Patients with two or more panoramic radiographs in the past 5 years ? Panoramic radiographs show bone resorption or clinical attachment loss of less than 2 mm over the past 5 years ? Panoramic radiographs show bone loss/age-related bone loss of approximately 0.25 to 1.0% (Panorama radiographs show bone loss of approximately 0.25 to 1.0% for age-related bone loss) (3) Grade C ? Patients with two or more panoramic radiographs in the past 5 years ? Panoramic radiographs show bone resorption of 2 mm or more or clinical attachment loss over 5 years ? Panoramic radiographs show bone loss/age-related bone loss of approximately 1.0% or more (Bone loss of approximately 1.0% or more for age-related bone loss in panoramic radiographs) ? Unexpected periodontal destruction due to plaque deposition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? Factors that may affect the oral microbiome: Antibiotics, smokers, cancer patients ? Uncontrolled systemic diseases ? In addition to the above, those with clinically significant findings that the study director or person in charge deems inappropriate for this study
