Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The subjects of the study were recruited adult males with elevated blood pressure or hypertension stage 1 between the ages of 30-50 years without exercise experience and other chronic diseases during the last 6 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those who have severe cerebrovascular disease, cardiovascular disease, and endocrine disease within 6 months from the date of examination. 2. Uncontrolled hypertension. 3. A person who has eaten drugs or health functional foods that may affect research results within 1 month from the date of examination. 4. A person who has participated in a hypertension management program within 3 months from the date of examination. 5. Smoking and drug addicts (including alcohol). 6. A person who the researcher deems unsuitable for participation in this clinical trial.
Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Body composition: body weight (kg), height (cm), BMI (kg/m²), lean body mass (kg), fat mass (kg), lean body percentage (%), and body fat percentage (%).;lood pressure: heart rate (bpm), systolic blood pressure (mmHg), diastolic blood pressure (mmHg), mean arterial pressure (mmHg), pulse pressure (mmHg), and double product (DP).;Vascular function: arterial stiffness and endothelial function. Arterial stiffness will be evaluated using brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) and ankle-brachial index (ABI). Endothelial function will be assessed using flow-mediated dilation (FMD).;Autonomic nervous system function: Heart rate variability(HRV) will be recorded, and time and frequency domain measures such as standard deviation of R-R intervals(SDNN), the square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent NN intervals(RMSSD), the proportion derived by dividing NN50 by total number of NN intervals(pNN50), low frequency(LF), high frequency(HF), and ratio of low frequency and high frequency(LF/HF) ratio will be analyzed. | — |
