Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 20 years or older undergoing forearm surgery at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: coagulopathy, infection at the injection site, pre-existing neurologic deficits in the operative limb, diaphragmatic paralysis, or allergy to local anesthetics. Additional exclusion criteria are a history of severe cardiopulmonary, hepatic, or renal disease; chronic opioid use; systemic steroid use; uncontrolled diabetes; and any other condition deemed by the investigator to make the patient unsuitable for participation in the study.
