Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants in this study were healthy adult males aged between 20 and 29 years who had not been exposed to high-altitude environments within the past six months and had no history of cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, or immune-related diseases. Only individuals who received a full explanation of the study’s purpose and procedures, understood the information provided, and voluntarily agreed to participate were included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals were excluded if they had been diagnosed with or were receiving treatment for cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, or immune-related diseases; had musculoskeletal disorders that could limit exercise performance; had a history of altitude sickness or exhibited sensitivity to high-altitude environments; reported discomfort or intolerance when exercising in hot, cold, or hypobaric hypoxic environments; or were judged by the investigators to have any condition that could compromise the safety of the intervention or the accuracy of the measurements.
