Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients suspected of having dry eye disease (DED) were diagnosed and included in this study if they met all of the following criteria: (1) Ocular staining score of 1 or higher (2) Tear breakup time (tBUT) of 5 seconds or less Prior to participation in this study, all subjects were required to read and provide informed consent before undergoing any study-related procedures. To ensure the protection of personal information, participants were interviewed in a private setting where the study was explained, and consent was obtained.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following conditions, which may affect measurement values during anterior segment biometry, were excluded from the study: History of active keratitis or conjunctivitis within the past 4 weeks Moderate to severe conjunctivochalasis Abnormalities of the lacrimal drainage system (e.g., congenital malformations, punctal abnormalities, canalicular disorders, nasolacrimal duct obstruction) History of ophthalmic surgery within the past 6 months History of ocular trauma within the past 3 months Contact lens wear within the past 72 hours
