Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The subjects of this study were those who were diagnosed with chronic low back pain, had persistent pain in the lumbar region for more than 3 months, had a total score of the Korean Oswestry Disability Index (KODI), which assesses the degree of disability in daily living, expressed as a percentage (%) in the range of 20-40%, were able to perform the necessary tests and interventions, were sufficiently motivated, faithfully followed the researcher's control, and agreed to participate in the study. Only those who understood the experiment and signed the consent form after receiving a sufficient explanation of the procedures, process, and expected effects were included in the study. The research plan was approved by the Sahmyook University Bioethics Committee (SYU 2024-06-023).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The following women were excluded: those with acute herniated disc, those who had undergone orthopedic surgery for lumbar spine problems in the past 6 months, those who were currently pregnant or had given birth within the past year, those with fractures or structural abnormalities of the nerves or muscles, those with heart disease, those with diabetes, those with skin trauma or skin diseases at the measurement site, those with sensory impairment, those with vestibular disorders, and those deemed unsuitable for the study.
