Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Female patients undergoing TKA under SA were eligible for enrollment if they met the following criteria: aged 50–75 years and classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–II
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: . Exclusion criteria included patients with cognitive impairment, as MI requires active mental engagement, and those with preoperative symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, or dizziness, as these symptoms could indicate unknown neurological or vestibular dysfunction that may affect sensory and motor assessments, potentially confounding the evaluation of MI’s effects on postoperative recovery.
