Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Confirmed diagnosis of chronic stroke as defined by radiologic examinations 2. Post-stroke duration of = 12 months 3. Unilateral hemiplegia 4. Hip and knee manual muscle strength above the poor grade(Medical research council grade > 2) 5. No change of clinical score in screening assessments for two months prior to baseline assessment 6. Ability to follow simple instructions including how to operate a robotic system (Korean version of Mini-Mental State Examination > 24) 7. Voluntary consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe orthopedic or neuropsychological problems(e.g., neglect) 2. Excessive spasticity in the affected lower limb(Modified Ashworth Scale > 2 ) 3. Severe lower limb pain.
