Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Adults over the age of 19 who visit the outpatient department of the Department of Integrated Dentistry at Yonsei University Dental Hospital, and target vulnerable subjects including patients who voluntarily agreed to participate in this study, employees of research institutions, and researchers. - Healthy general adult: If the last scaling was within the last 6 months and when measuring bad breath, hydrogen sulfide is below 50ng/10ml, (112ppb) and methyl mercaptan is below 0.50ng/10ml, (26ppb) - Patients with periodontal disease: Patients with one or more pocket depths of PD=5mm and two or more pocket depths of CAL=6mm or more at the time of probing (Preshaw 2009), who have not received periodontal treatment including antibiotic ointment application or scaling within the past 3 months. - People without cavities - A person who has taken a panorama within the last year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - smoker - Patients with salivary gland-related diseases - A person who has taken antibiotics or applied antibiotic ointment in the mouth within the past month - Patients whose bad breath is caused by a systemic disease rather than an oral problem (Digestive system-related diseases, liver-related diseases, kidney-related diseases, drug-related bone necrosis of the jaw, etc.) - If there are no panoramic photos within the last year - If you have a factor that causes bad breath (MRONJ, cyst, tonsils, etc.) - Persons lacking medical ability (including the disabled) - When the test subject withdraws consent - Patients deemed inappropriate by other clinicians
