Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ? Age 15 years or older ? Diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder by a board-certified psychiatrist based on Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition criteria and the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale ? No history of using antidepressants or antipsychotic medications within four weeks prior to the initial assessment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ? A current or past diagnosis of another psychiatric disorder based on the Structured Clinical Interview for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition criteria ? Presence of a severe medical condition (e.g., renal failure, liver disease, cancer, hyperthyroidism) ? A current or past history of substance dependence or misuse ? A history of epilepsy, head trauma, or an organic mental disorder
