Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients, 19 to 80 year of age, ASA I-II, scheduled for general endotracheal anesthesia for elective nasal or otologic surgery (mastoidectomy, tympanoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inability to obtain consent, esophageal disease, any otologic disorder contralateral to the scheduled ear surgery and febrile conditions.
