Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who underwent single-incision or multiport laparoscopic anatomical left liver resection at Seoul National University Hospital from October 2015 to June 2022. Patients diagnosed with liver diseases requiring surgical treatment, including liver neoplasms (e.g., hepatocellular carcinoma), intrahepatic stones, metastatic liver cancer, and hepatic hemangiomas. Patients with sufficient surgical records and clinical data available for analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who underwent non-anatomical liver resection. Patients who underwent extended left liver resection. Patients who required intraoperative or postoperative interventions for additional lesions in the right liver. Patients with combined hepatocellular carcinoma-cholangiocarcinoma (Combined HCC-CC) in the multiport laparoscopic group, excluded for cancer-specific analysis. Patients with incomplete clinical data or those unsuitable for analysis.
