Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 years or older diagnosed with acute herpes zoster accompanied by typical skin lesions who have consented to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - the patient does not wish to participate in the study. - the patient has a history of major psychiatric disorders, other chronic pain conditions, or severe illnesses that could affect the nervous system, making participation in quantitative sensory testing and questionnaire completion difficult.
