Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) older adult inpatients aged 65 years or older 2) those in the subacute phase (hospitalization within 2–4 weeks) following intramedullary nailing surgery 3) those able to participate in a routine high-intensity rehabilitation program 4) those not diagnosed with other cardiopulmonary, neurological, or psychological disorders 5) those without a history of other hip surgeries (e.g., total hip arthroplasty)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded from the study if they 1) had severe osteoarthritis of the contralateral hip, 2) had not fully recovered from a previous THA surgery, or 3) had difficulty communicating.
