Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study participants were adults aged 19 to 70 years undergoing knee surgery at Konkuk University Hospital. The subjects included patients classified as ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) class I, II, and III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgeries and outpatient-based surgeries, 2. Patients with hypersensitivity to galactose or Dextran 40, 3. Patients with a history of drug abuse, 4. Patients currently taking sedatives or narcotic painkillers that could affect sleep, 5. Patients undergoing concurrent surgeries on other body parts, 6. Patients with lactose intolerance, 7. Patients with severe liver failure, 8. Patients with neurological disorders, 9. Patients with a BMI greater than 35 kg/m^2, 10. Patients known to have hypersensitivity to the drugs being studied.
