Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who underwent simple cataract surgery without complications at Kangwon National University Hospital between February and October 2023

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients aged under 20 years and over 85 years and those with ocular diseases such as keratitis, glaucoma, and retinal disease were excluded. Patients with a history of dry eye treatment within 4 weeks and those taking oral medications or glaucomatous eye drops, which may affect DED, were also excluded. Further, patients with a history of myopia correction, glaucoma, or retinal surgery and those whose complications, such as posterior capsule rupture, occurred during surgery were excluded.
