Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 19 years and older admitted to the intensive care unit receiving continuous renal replacement therapy. 1) The initiation of continuous renal replacement therapy is indicated in patients with acute kidney injury meeting the KDIGO guidelines 2) and in cases where life-threatening fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base imbalances cannot be resolved with pharmacological treatment
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients receiving maintenance dialysis treatment due to underlying end-stage renal disease 2) Patients strongly suspected of having postrenal acute kidney injury (obstructive acute kidney injury) 3) Patients receiving acute intermittent hemodialysis for acute kidney injury (i.e., patients transitioning from acute intermittent hemodialysis to continuous renal replacement therapy) 4) Pregnant women or patients suspected of being pregnant 5) Patients who have issued an advance directive expressing a desire not to be resuscitated 6) Patients enrolled in another randomized study 7) Patients or guardians who refuse to consent to the study
