Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who visit participating Korean medicine hospitals with idiopathic facial nerve paralysis (G51.0) as the main symptom and have decided to receive Korean medicine treatment. 2) Patients within 4 weeks of the onset of facial nerve paralysis. 3) Patients who have received sufficient explanation prior to registry enrollment, voluntarily decided to participate in this study, and signed the IRB-approved written consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients who visit after 4 weeks from the onset. 2) Patients with facial nerve paralysis due to secondary causes (e.g., multiple sclerosis, tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, etc.). 3) Ramsay Hunt Syndrome patients. 4) Patients who cannot read or understand the consent form and questionnaire. 5) Patients deemed unsuitable for participation at the investigator's discretion.
