Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) Group: Singleton and twin pregnant women diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus. - GDM Diagnosis Criteria: If the result of the gestational diabetes mellitus screening test (50g glucose challenge test) conducted between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy shows a blood glucose level of 140 mg/dL or higher, a diagnostic oral glucose tolerance test (100g oral glucose tolerance test) is performed. A diagnosis of GDM is made if two or more out of the four blood glucose measurements exceed the specified criteria. * 100g Oral Glucose Tolerance Test Criteria (4 measurements) fasting < 95 mg/dL, 1 hour < 180 mg/dL, 2 hours < 155 mg/dL, 3 hours < 140 mg/dL 2) Control Group: Singleton and twin pregnant women who were not diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus. - Control Group Criteria: Participants whose 50g glucose challenge test result is 140 mg/dL or lower and whose fasting blood glucose is less than 92 mg/dL, or those whose 100g oral glucose tolerance test results are all negative or show only one positive result, between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) Group - Pregnant women with triplets or more - Foreign pregnant women - Pregnant women diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes before 20 weeks of pregnancy - Cases where the 50g glucose challenge test result was positive, but the 100g oral glucose tolerance test was negative (i.e., all four measurements in the 100g oral glucose tolerance test were negative, or only one measurement was elevated) 2) Control Group - Pregnant women with triplets or more - Foreign pregnant women - Pregnant women with medical conditions such as hypertension or diabetes
