Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: [Anxiety Module] 1) a signed informed consent form to participate in the study, 2) a documented medical record of ASD or an Asperger’s syndrome diagnosis, 3) a documented record of the full scale IQ (FSIQ) = 80 or FSIQ score = 80 on the short version of the WAIS-IV, 4) a total score = 26 of the Autism Spectrum Quotient in either self- or proxy reports, 5) a total score = 39 on the state anxiety subscale of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) in either a self- or proxy report questionnaire. [Anger Module] 1) provision of a signed consent form to participate in research, 2) submission of a documented medical record showing a diagnosis of ASD or Asperger’s syndrome, 3) submission of a documented record of the full-scale IQ (FSIQ) = 80, or scored 80 or above in a short version of the Korean-Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Fourth Edition (K-WAIS-?) or Korean-Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fourth Edition (K-WISC-?), which was administered during their site visit, 4) reported a total score = 26 in the Korean version of the Autism Spectrum Quotient (K-AQ) either in self- or proxy reports and 5) reported a score greater than 1 SD in the Anger Coping Scale (ACS) verbal aggression subscale or Korean version of the Behavioral Anger Response Questionnaire (K-BARQ) direct anger-out subscale or rumination subscale either in self- or proxy reports

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: [Anxiety Module] 1) Does not voluntarily agree to participate in the study, 2) Cannot provide a certificate from a specialist indicating a past diagnosis or opinion of Asperger's or ASD, 3) Does not meet the clinical criteria for autistic traits on the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) scale, either self-reported or proxy-reported (AQ score 25 or below), 4) Has a documented Full Scale IQ (FSIQ) below 80 on an intelligence test or a result of FSIQ below 80 when administered the Korean version of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale short form by the researcher, 5) Does not report clinically significant anxiety (STAI state anxiety score of 39 or above) on the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) state anxiety subscale. [Anger Module] 1) Does not voluntarily agree to participate in the study, 2) Cannot provide a certificate from a specialist indicating a past diagnosis or opinion of Asperger's or ASD, 3) Does not meet the clinical criteria for autistic traits on the Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ) scale, either self-reported or proxy-reported (AQ score 25 or below), 4) Has a documented Full Scale IQ (FSIQ) below 80 on an intelligence test or a result of FSIQ below 80 when administered the Korean version of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale short form by the researcher, 5) Does not report a score greater than 1 SD on the verbal aggression subscale of the Anger Coping Scale (ACS) or on the direct anger-out or rumination subscales of the Behavioral Anger Response Questionnaire (K-BARQ), either self-reported or proxy-reported.
