Interventions

Dietary Supplement : Take red ginseng tablets or placebo tablets, 500mg/tab, 4 tablets, once a day (2g per day) for a total of 8 weeks.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: postmenopausal women aged 50 and above

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: current smoker, three or more alcoholic drinks at a time with more than twice a week, uncontrolled hypertension (SBP >180, DBP >100), uncontrolled diabetes (fasting glucose >200), diagnosis of liver disease with 3 times more than normal-upper-limit of serum AST and ALT level, diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, diagnosis of pulmonary disease, diagnosis of cancer under chemotherapy, taking other health supplements, vision, hearing, speech or physical disabilities that may affect tests, taking hormone medication, other ineligible conditions for participating in this study when judged by principle investigator
