Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: From the date of IRB approval until December 31, 2024, Seoul Asan Hospital is recruiting participants aged 50 and above who have been diagnosed with progressive dementia with a GDS score of 4 or higher. Participants must meet the following criteria: Have never been diagnosed with dementia or mild cognitive impairment. Have no other physical or mental disorders. Have no history of diagnosed lymph node diseases. These criteria are for recruiting a control group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB) are excluded. Those with severe renal function impairment (GFR 30 or below) or concomitant liver failure are also excluded. Participants who do not wish to participate or refuse to sign the consent form are excluded. Additionally, participants may be excluded if, at the discretion of the clinical trial investigator, it is deemed impractical to conduct the clinical trial due to reasons other than those mentioned above.

1. Ultrasound Findings: Size of lymph nodes at each level, vascular index using SMI mode, Sorbiati index, clarity of structures within lymph nodes.

1. Basic Demographic Data. 2. Subjective Symptoms of Patients: GDS (Global Deterioration Scale).
