Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects were asymptomatic adults who were undergoing routine screening colonoscopy. Only subjects who had never experienced colonoscopy before or at least not within the last 3 years were included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We excluded subjects as follows: 1) colonoscopy history within 3 years, 2) previous history of colorectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease and hereditary polyposis syndrome, 3) any alarm symptom including severe or progressively worsening abdominal pain, unexplained weight loss, unexplained iron deficiency anemia, and overt gastrointestinal bleeding.
