Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 20 and above who have not received periodontal treatment within the last three months, do not have a history of antibiotic use within the last three months, and have no history of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or oral contraceptive intake.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with a history of periodontal treatment, antibiotic use, and oral contraceptive intake within the last three months, as well as those who were pregnant, breastfeeding, or in conditions that could affect microbial composition, were included.
