Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Individuals who understand the purpose of this study and voluntarily provide written consent to participate in the research. -Individuals with a body mass index (BMI) of 23.0 kg/m² or higher. -Men and women aged 20 to 60 diagnosed with NAFLD according to the Asia-Pacific NAFLD diagnostic guidelines. -Men and women aged 20 to 60 diagnosed with MASLD (metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease) and METald according to the new nomenclature guidelines for NAFLD. -Individuals with no weight change in the past three months. -Individuals with no exercise experience in the past three months (defined as less than once a week and less than 30 minutes per session). -Individuals who are eligible for exercise participation according to the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q+). -Individuals without health issues that would prevent them from engaging in exercise. -Individuals with metabolic syndrome who are deemed fit for exercise under a physician's discretion.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -Individuals with heart or kidney diseases. -Individuals taking medications that may affect research outcomes (such as those for hypertension or diabetes). -Smokers. -Individuals with allergies to milk and dairy products or lactose intolerance. -Students and researchers affiliated with the investigator's laboratory. -Individuals with glaucoma, cataracts, or infectious ocular diseases. -Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.
