Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The participants of this study were recruited from a tertiary hospital in the metropolitan city from March 2020 to January 2021 and those who understood the purpose of the study and agreed to participate. They were new graduate registered nurses who were assigned to five departments of adult intensive care units (medical ICU, surgical ICU 1, surgical ICU 2, cardiopulmonary ICU, emergency ICU) at the tertiary hospital.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Nurses who had previously participated in a transition program at other places or those who had full-time work experience at other hospitals were excluded from this study.
