Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 18 to under 65 years of age The patient exhibited disc herniation or spinal stenosis in the 4th-5th lumbar vertebrae as evidenced by MRI, in addition to presented with unilateral lower extremity radicular pain.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Grade 3 or less of lower extremities (score of 3 or less on manual muscle testing), lower extremity hyperreflexia, bladder dysfunction, or other neurologic abnormalities. (2) Lumbar region infection (3) Patients with a mass occupying the epidural space in the lumbar region. (4) Patients who have undergone surgery in the lumbar region (5) Cancer patients (6) Pregnant women (7) Allergic to any of the medications used in the procedure
