Drug : Patients in propofol group were induced anesthesia with 2 mg/kg of propofol and maintained with a target-controlled infusion of propofol using the Marsh effect site model and target BIS monitor

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: type 2 diabetic patients scheduled for general surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients are excluded if they have underlying diseases such as cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, renal disease, liver disease, cognitive dysfunction, congenital malformation, or history of hypersensitivity to benzodiazepine drugs other than well-controlled hypertension.
