Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: This randomized controlled trial was conducted on patients over 16 years old who visited the Chosun University Dental Hospital from October 2019 to September 2021 for treatment of a periapical lesion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic diseases, such as diabetes and osteoporosis that could have affected bone metabolism and healing were excluded.
