Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) neck pain group (1) experience of neck pain over 3 months (2) 5 = Numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) = 7 (3) 30 = Neck disability index (NDI) = 48 2) asymptomatic group (1) no history of neck pain within 3 months (2) NPRS < 3 (3) NDI < 8.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for the study included Body mass index (BMI) less than 18.5kg/m² or greater than 29.9kg/m², a history of orthopedic diagnosis in the neck, prior neck surgery, and the presence of systemic or neurologic diseases.
