Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 1 to 5 who visited the pediatric emergency department requiring noncontrast computed tomography under procedural sedation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Children whose American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification (ASA) is 3, 4, 5 - Children with suspected otolaryngeal disease or trauma - Children weighing 20kg or more - Children with history of previous side effects of sedatives and for whom any of the sedatives were contraindicated. - Children whose vital signs are unstable or requiring urgent intervention. - Child's caregiver have insufficient knowlege of Korean to understand the study protocol. - Intravenous line has already been placed or is planned for a purpose other than procedural sedation.
