Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) age=18 years (b) a registered person with deaf (c) used sign language or lip-reading (d) diagnosed with hypertension by a doctor for at least 6 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) those who had been diagnosed with mental illness (e.g., alcoholism, schizophrenia, drug addiction) that interfered with participation in this study (b) those who refused to participate in this study
