Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Among patients were scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class 2 or 3, had taken anti-hypertensive drugs for more than 6 months were included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with body mass index greater than 30, suspected difficult airway, preexisting respiratory disease, severe cardiac liver, or kidney disease, uncontrolled hypertension, and cognitive dysfunction were excluded in this study.
